Song Creation & Production

When you think about song creation and writing, what do you feel? I want you to think about this for a minute as we dive into class one of this course. Grab a binder with loose leaf for taking notes, or a journal and pen and begin writing down your thoughts in point form. I want you to look back at it after this course is complete, when I have you do this exercise again. What do you think and feel as you consider song creation and writing? 

I encourage you to put instrumental music on while you engage in this class and course. If the music is instrumental, it’ll help you sink into what we are about to cover.

The inspiration for your song creation and writing is everything! Pay attention to where and when you feel the most inspired, as this is a key to the future of your ART. If you wish to apply for grants that support the creation of ART, you’ll need to know these personal aspects intimately. 

Cultivate and embrace an intimate relationship with your creative soul…nourish it. When you need anything in life, whether physical, emotional, financial, relational, mental, etc., your creativity will be a support system to your soul through the process you undergo. I can’t wait to take you down this road of creativity with me; I am excited to let you into my personal process while fostering your own. I also want to spread the ideals and concepts around music as a Remedy, especially in relation to creating music that is your own to enjoy for the rest of your life.
